1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using todaycompliant.com (the “Platform”), operated by TODAYcompliant (“TODAYcompliant,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service — TODAYcompliant Is a Marketplace, Not a Contractor or Employer
TODAYcompliant operates an online marketplace and load board that connects property owners (“Clients”) with independent contractors (“Contractors”) for the purpose of posting projects, submitting bids, and facilitating introductions between the two parties.
TODAYcompliant is a neutral venue only. Similar to other online marketplaces that connect consumers with service professionals, we do not perform, supervise, manage, or control any work performed by a Contractor. We are not a contractor, general contractor, staffing agency, or employer. We do not employ, sponsor, or direct any Contractor’s work in any way. Contractors are independent businesses, not agents, employees, partners, or representatives of TODAYcompliant.
We are not a party to, and do not participate in, the decision to hire, the negotiation of terms, or the performance of any work between a Client and a Contractor. Our role begins and ends with presenting a Client’s project to our network of Contractors and providing tools for Contractors to submit bids. Everything that happens after that — selection, contract terms, pricing, scheduling, performance, and payment for services — is solely between the Client and the Contractor.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.
4. Account Registration
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. Contractor Verification Is a Screening Tool, Not an Endorsement or Guarantee
Contractors are required to submit documentation, including trade licenses, certifications, and proof of insurance, as part of our compliance verification process. TODAYcompliant reviews this documentation prior to approving a Contractor to participate on the Platform and monitors expiration dates on an ongoing basis. Access may be automatically suspended if a Contractor’s license or insurance lapses.
This verification process exists to help Clients make more informed decisions — it is not a guarantee, certification, or endorsement of any Contractor. As with other marketplaces that screen service professionals (such as background-check or license-verification features used by platforms like Angi), passing our verification process means a Contractor met our documentation requirements at the time of review and at subsequent monitoring checkpoints — it does not mean TODAYcompliant guarantees their work, warrants their ongoing compliance in real time, or vouches for the outcome of any project. Clients are encouraged to independently verify any Contractor’s credentials before entering into an agreement.
6. Project Postings and Card Holds
Posting a project on the Platform is free. To verify the legitimacy of a posting and reduce spam, TODAYcompliant places a temporary $100 hold on the Client’s card via our payment processor, Stripe, at the time of posting. This hold:
Clients may optionally purchase a “Sponsored Post” upgrade to increase the visibility of their project listing. Charges for Sponsored Posts or other paid upgrades are billed and processed separately from the card hold described above. This fee, where applicable, is solely for advertising placement on the Platform — it is not a fee for hiring, work performed, or any guarantee of a successful match.
7. No Involvement in Hiring, Contracting, or Performance of Work
TODAYcompliant provides a tool for Clients to present projects to a network of verified Contractors and for Contractors to submit bids. We do not:
The decision to hire, the terms of any agreement, pricing, scope of work, payment arrangements, and performance of work are determined solely and exclusively between the Client and the Contractor.TODAYcompliant is not a party to, and assumes no responsibility or liability for, any agreement entered into between a Client and a Contractor, in the same way that other lead-generation and marketplace platforms in the home services industry disclaim responsibility for work performed by professionals found through their sites.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT, INFORMATION, AND SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TODAYCOMPLIANT IS A MARKETPLACE PLATFORM ONLY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE QUALITY, SAFETY, LEGALITY, TIMELINESS, OR PERFORMANCE OF ANY CONTRACTOR’S WORK, NOR THE ACCURACY OF ANY LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, OR INSURANCE INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY A CONTRACTOR. Any dispute regarding the quality or outcome of work performed must be resolved directly between the Client and the Contractor.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TODAYCOMPLIANT AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, ANY PROJECT POSTED, ANY BID SUBMITTED, OR ANY AGREEMENT OR WORK PERFORMED BETWEEN A CLIENT AND A CONTRACTOR, EVEN IF TODAYCOMPLIANT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TODAYcompliant and its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) any agreement or dispute between a Client and a Contractor; or (d) any work performed or services rendered by a Contractor.
11. Reviews and Reputation
Clients may submit reviews and ratings regarding their experience with Contractors. Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on genuine experience. TODAYcompliant reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of applicable law. Reviews reflect the opinions of individual Clients and do not constitute an endorsement or guarantee by TODAYcompliant.

TODAYcompliant reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Platform or other users.

15. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
