TODAYcompliant (“TODAYcompliant,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates todaycompliant.com (the “Platform”), a marketplace connecting property owners and managers (“Clients”) with verified independent contractors (“Contractors”) across residential, commercial, and industrial project types. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the Platform.

6. Marketplace Role and Data Disclaimer
TODAYcompliant is a marketplace platform only. We are not a party to, and do not participate in, any agreement, hiring decision, or work performed between a Client and a Contractor. Information shared between Clients and Contractors through the Platform (such as project details, bids, and communications) is shared at the users’ own discretion, and TODAYcompliant is not responsible for how a Client or Contractor independently uses information obtained through the Platform outside of it.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as an account is active or as needed to provide Platform services. Compliance documentation (licenses, insurance certificates) and billing records may be retained after account closure as needed to satisfy legal, regulatory, tax, or dispute-resolution requirements.
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, analyze usage, and improve performance. You may control cookie settings through your browser; disabling cookies may affect certain Platform features.
9. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including compliance documentation submitted through CollabPortals and payment information processed through Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Contractor Profile Visibility and Hold Status
As described in our Terms of Service, a Contractor’s profile visibility is tied to their compliance and billing status. While in Hold Status (triggered by an expired license/insurance document or a lapsed subscription payment), a Contractor’s profile, including any associated reviews, is not visible to Clients browsing the Platform. Underlying account data is retained, not deleted, during Hold Status, and visibility is restored once the Contractor’s status is brought current.
12. Reviews Disclosure
TODAYcompliant displays two separate categories of feedback on Contractor profiles: (1) internal reviews submitted by Clients directly on the Platform, and (2) publicly available Google reviews, where they exist. These are displayed separately, not combined into a blended score. Review data displayed on the Platform is for use within todaycompliant.com only and is not exported to or shared with third parties beyond what is already publicly visible via Google.
13. Third-Party Links and Services
The Platform may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g., Stripe, Google Maps, Google Reviews). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties and encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
14. Children’s Privacy
TODAYcompliant is not intended for use by individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors and will delete any such information if we become aware of it.

If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ.
16. Future Services
TODAYcompliant may in the future offer additional, optional services to Contractors (such as digital reputation management or social media services) through a separate division. Should these services launch, any additional data collection or use specific to those services will be disclosed at that time, either through an update to this Privacy Policy or a separate service-specific agreement.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
