PREAMBLE
This Iowa State Addendum (“Iowa Addendum”) supplements and is incorporated into the TODAYcompliant.com Terms of Service (“Master Terms”). This Iowa Addendum applies to all contractors, clients, and users accessing or using the TODAYcompliant.com platform in connection with projects, services, or contractor engagements located in or governed by the laws of the State of Iowa. In the event of a conflict between this Iowa Addendum and the Master Terms, this Iowa Addendum shall control with respect to Iowa-specific requirements.
All contractors registered on TODAYcompliant.com who select service categories covered by Iowa state law are required to comply with the applicable Iowa statutes, regulations, and licensing requirements described in this Addendum. By registering on the platform and selecting applicable service categories, contractors represent and warrant that they hold all required Iowa licenses, certifications, and registrations described herein.

SECTION 1 — GENERAL IOWA CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
1.1 — Iowa Contractor Licensing Overview
Iowa is one of the less restrictive states for statewide contractor licensing. Iowa does not require a statewide general contractor license. Specific trades are regulated at the state level, and Iowa municipalities may impose local contractor registration or permit requirements.
